The only wind up merchant here Andy is him. He's had what 10 posts and is already creating problems. Best to ignore him. I think the vast majority of members here have more experience and knowledge than he does when it comes to the weather. He was banging on the same rubbish last Friday and couldn't be anymore wrong.

Do you come in this forum just to annoy long term members such as my self and Jay and cause arguments. Usually this forum is the friendliest on the site. Look at last Friday, 2 hrs b4 it snowed it was 5c! Didn't mean the weather wasn't going to change and get colder. This is the thing, this is Wales we go from 1 extreme to the other in a matter of hours.

Whoop:) see if it can snow with warm winds over us right now at your location I'm pretty sure its going to snow tomorrow under the colder Winds. The air over Wales is very cold and entrenched. Ignore that guy he was spouting the same rubbish with no charts to say why etc on Friday and was proven well wrong.

I don't live in Llantrisant just stay there a lot my gf lives there. Most of the time I'm just north of Cardiff tho.

Near Caerphilly mountain just to the north of the border. The radar shows showers just skimming me. Girlfriend says its snowing like crazy in Llantrisant too.

Well Cardiff is low ground and close to the sea it is possible that they won't get any snow - Cardiff rarely does get snow. I went down the bay today to go to the cinema and the difference between the bay, the rest of Cardiff and here is massive. North of the M4 where most of the people in South Wales live could still get a lot of snow. I haven't seen any rain at all and the snow its settling. He was on here in the early hours of Friday morning saying its far too warm ignoring the met office forecasts & NAE for temperatures to drop (which they did). Wants to spoil the fun for the majority of people on here just because of his own anti-snow agenda. I'm pretty sure northern parts of Cardiff will get snow tonight anyway.

You said the same thing about Friday how it's all going to be a disappointment. Well 8 inches of snow is not a disappointment and its snowing right now In fact its belting it down.

Snowing here Got caught out went cinema with my gf to watch django (brill film) and it started chucking it down. Didn't expect it at all. Needless to say I dropped my gf off in Llantrisant and went straight home. Don't want to be stuck up there again

Would of been awesome if it did actually make it to Wales, it not expected to tho Any experts want to comment?

NAE takes the snow over to the West Midlands. Need it to shift back west.

Actually just seen the BBC forecast up to -10c on the snowfields in rural areas in Wales. So my weather station reporting -6.6c right now it probably accurate. Could well fall down to -10c tonight, it's only 21:20, many hours of darkness yet.

Same. Important to make sure you get all the snow off it or it'll give u false readings also keep it away from the house and put it above ground mine at my height, fallen to -6.7c now. Dno whether to believe it or not. Haven't looked outside but prefabs the sky is fairly clear here allowing temps to drop :s it was hovering around -1c here today

I'm finally back home now I live fairly high up too. Bout 8inches of snow on ground at home.I've got an Oregon scientific weather sensor it's hanging off a nail on the wall about 20 meters from house. Made sure there's no snow on it. My car says -3.5c and that usually underestimates it. Certainly well below zero. I was stuck at my gfs for a few days in Llantrisant
