    The snow isn't that light, it's fairly moderate. Precip is intensifying and expanding on radar

    There's something dodgy going on. No precip on radar but sat shows lots of cloud heading this way and its snowing.

    What ever is to the SW is racing in. Still snowing lightly here despite nothing on radar. Could just be snow being blown around tho.

    Took this 3 hrs ago probably a little bit more now but 6 inches anyway 1 foot drifts here in exposed places Snow starting to become a bit heavier again here now. Beefy snow showers approaching from the west:)

    Fascinating seeing the snow being whipped off the roofs by the strong wind. I've only ever seen that while skiing in Vermont in the States.

    Il be very disappointed if the snow stops now. Was expecting it to last all day at least until 6pm.... I've got 5inches of snow tho. Best since 2010 but no where near 2010 levels when we had well over a foot

    Met office exactly right. Temps falling away after 1 rapidly with heavy snow beginning in most places by around 3. Fair play
