    Yes, here in woodchurch just 6 miles south west of Ashford J10 we are getting hammered and have had at least 3 inches since about 7.30 this eve!!!!! WOW was not expecting this much tonight!!!!!! Have taken some photos and will try to upload them later !!!! Sledging with the kids and friends in the morning, YEAY!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi guys have about an inch of lying snow temp -0.5. very heavy looking clouds to the north, east and west. blowing nw'ly. sunny though at the moment keeping fingers crossed

    Those showers do seem to be peping up the further south they come.

    Must be closer to J8 as the gap between J8 and J9 is 13 miles(J8 being south Maidstone and J9 is North Ashford) Sunny here closer to J10(South Ashford) which is another 2.5 miles south.

    we have 1cm of snow 6 miles SW of the M20!! I think that is more to do with ice.

    been looking at the radar, will the showers out in the north sea become more organised as the day goes on and head (later today/tonight)in towards kent, Anyone?

    snowing in woodchurch now tiny flakes but alot of them. Its got to go some to make it worth while though. I am hopeing for an inch but the end of tonight. Optermistic me thinks!!!

    Can antone tell me is the wind direction right for that lot in the near north sea/channel to be pushed west over east kent tonight?? met ofice are showing heavy snow for me from now till midnight but this snow band seems to be moving through very quickly!! ANYONE??

    yes I am looking at the radar and we seem to have some snow heading right for us, and I thought we were to far east to get any tonight??

    What a change from all the posts yesterday after the counrty file forcast!!!, I was getting very excited last night, if the last few snow forcasts are any thing to go by for my region, I am not holding my breath for this week at all, I missed out on both lots of snow in december with just a icing sugar shaking over my back garden!! Still one can only hope!

    Ok thank you Neilsouth, got to be at work by 8am tomorrow dont wish to battle the elements in to Ashford in the morning. looking interesting for the rest of the week though!!

    Are there going to be any more snow showers over kent tonight? as they seem to be disipating as they reach the north kent coast!!

    will we in south east kent (Ashford) see any of this snow as it pivots back towards us? Temps have risen all day now at a balmy 4oC ! Will the colder air from the north of London get dragged down with it to give us any snow?
