    I have not been on here for a few days coz of the bickering over the North v South devide! I can only say that if there is a bias for the south(which I am not saying there is) then that surely has nothing to do with the people who are on the forum but, just the that there are more people for the south that happen to be following this forum!!! lets just all play nicely please!!!

    Met Office have up to a possible 15cm by tomorrow for East Kent, well will have to see wot Kaddy has to say on SE today!!

    Got about 2cm here in the last few really heavy showers, my daughter was getting really excited earlier as she was watching the line of trees from the landing window(before it got dark) and screaming everytime they disappeared from view ITS COMMING!!!!!!!!! gotta love kids and snow!!!!!!!

    After the frantic activity of the last few weeks I have taken a few days off from weather watching and wasn't expecting anything else for a couple of weeks with the colder air moving away and warmer air moving in. When (to my surprise)I come back we are under a yellow alert form the met office for snow tonight!! Am I to clse to the coast or to far east to get any snow tonight?? ANYONE????

    Hi Guys haven't been watching posts for a while so may have missed it !! But i take it this thaw is caused by warmer temperatures moving through, so is there any indication of a return to the cold weather soon and possibly more snow? or is it going to stay warmer with the thaw ongoing?

    Well, temperature here 2.6 Complete thaw in progress with our 6 inches of lying snow being eroded to around 2 inches already. Pressure is stable with cloudy sky giving a very light flurry of incredibly wet snow/ sleet Heres hoping for another about turn !!!
