    Yes there is an upside to living in the south east of england, but we just dont want it now!!

    Just using the rule of 'sods law' I have a dentist appointment in Battle,East Sussex tomorrow afternoon, I am not expecting any snow (just rain) which means we will be bound to get some!

    still have lying snow here, which is almost unbelieveable considering the small totals we ended up with. Max temp today was 4.c but it is falling away now even with the light cloud cover that has pushed up from the south over the course of the afternoon.

    Iwould like to have some more snow as we only had about 2cms. would prefer it now rather than march/april as it is likely to last longer.

    Think yourself very lucky stormtracker us down in the far southeast of kent got the some total of 2.5cm and that came monday afternoon for about 2 1/2hrs and at 4pm had finished. Whicvh after all the hype was terrible!!!!!

    Lets hope you are right coast, would be lovely to see some more snow as south east kent missed out on the really heavy stuff on sunday and monday!!

    It can snow all it wants to on Friday kids are off school due to teacher training day, so it will be nice for them to be able to really enjoy it, IF ANY COMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not holding my breath though was hoping for more than we had sunday into monday and yesterdays was pretty poor too!!!!!!!!!

    well i am off to bed, looks like I'll have to get up and take the kids to school in the morning afterall!! Will have to wait and see if the snow for tomorrow for us pans out or not. Can anyone give me their best guest-ta-mate PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

    Nothing doing here in Woodchurch, although alot of curtain twitching going on. Off to watch Lost now will be back in an hour to see if anything has changed!!!! LETS HOPE SO

    are we in south eastern kent(Ashford) going to get any more snow tonight????? All of kent is red on the met office flash warning but I think they have done that because of what is forcast for London and the streamer!!!! I hope this is not the case as my kids are sooooo excited about the snow although tomorrow looks hopfull as tnat weather moves in form across the channel.

    so, with the wind direction changing does that mean that Ashford will now miss out on the heavy snow. ANYONE!!!!!
