Radiating Dendrite

I am going to be controversial and go for a new record of - 28.1 This will be in Scotland, probs Altnaharra. As for England, I am thinking maybe a -19.8 somewhere in the North Midlands.

I am going to go for 15.8, and maybe we should have a little guess at the coldest temperature too? I am going for -18.4, with a good crisp cover of snow on the ground.

WOW - He does have a lot to say. I am off to buy a coat, looks like we could be entering a "little ice age" at any moment :-)

I dont know where u got that figure from but it is completely wrong. The coldest temperature ever recorded in the UK is -27.2 which was recorded in the mid 1990s in Scotland.

I am going for a cold one, with a normal first half but very cold second half of the month. The figure 3.7C is my guess.

Hey I am new to this particular forum and was just wondering how many of you believe that this is going to be a cold/snowy winter? It has been far too long since we had a really cold winter and personally I get the feeling with current developments that this winter could be the coldest in quite a while (last ten years)? I have had a look at the latest models, but am still something of an amatuer. When do u think we can possibly expect the first cold spell of this winter season? Mid November perhaps? I look forward to hearing everyones views.
