Still snowing nearly 6 hours now.... Not anything major but certainly over 1cm all surfaces covered nightmare tomorrow -
Had nearly 3 hours of this so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now snowing again in WF6 Wouldn't say light but not moderate either??? Just lots of it but very small flakes got a nice covering though!!! A bit heavier now seems to have pepped up over South Yorks?

All precipitation is now moving NW and fizzling out that may be it for tonight....

Terrible start to the morning with so much black ice Had a day in Hull seeing customers nice and warm between 2c and 3C Still quite a bit of snow on the higher parts leading in to Hull. Got back to Normanton about 20 mins ago and we have a very slight snow falling but enough to cover almost all surfaces very quickly.

Quite heavy drizzle here for the last half hour one minute falling straight down next going in all directions

I was up in Halifax and Shelf today and still a bit of snow on the ground up there in Shelf. Was snowing around dinner time in Halifax.

Some where must be getting a right pasting if it is snow as the rain / sleet has been non stop for nearly 4 hours now and some heavier bursts have produced more snow but it has then gone back to sleet / rain.

Looking at Rain Today? Seems to change to snow as it either enters Leeds or passes through. Still raining....Bit of sleet mixed in...had plenty of snow flurries through out today though.......... Just been out and measured we have lost 50%+ today with a thaw and all this rain and are now down to below 3"

I think that is it for me now tonight unless those showers coming in from around the Hull or slightly north area push inland:whistling: I reckon in the 2 bursts of snow tonight up to 5cm of fresh stuff on top of the old stuff takes me up to nearly 7" There has been a slight thaw (only very slight) over the last couple of days so it is always difficult to get a true reading:doh: I just can't believe how different today has been, sun all day snow pretty much all night so far:good:

Yes I can also confirm that As they came up my Close and forgot they had to turn around at the top. Pushed all the snow over the front of people's drives.....

Looking at Rain Today and if these showers carry on a SW movement we could be in for a couple of hours soon might not be heavy but could leave another few cm or more? The hour or so I got around 6pm tonight was the wildest I have seen for ages, will be difficult to measure how much fell as it was being blown all over and to actually see it drift up against walls and fences is quite a sight...... Started snowing 9.30pm again

again all the showers heading towards us in Leeds and surrounding areas are just fizzling away over North York Moors why is that happening ? It has happened more than once this week......
