Started again in Leeds LS11 very light though -
Good call yesterday John when people were sweating!

Just been out and measured in Leeds LS11 just of Elland Road 8cm or 3" Nice but has nearly stopped.....

Up at 7am not a flake all night. Out at 8am nearly an inch at home. 13 miles later in work in Leeds 10am approx 1.5" Snow has now slowed and lighter. LS11

6 flakes here about an hour ago, off to bed see what the morning brings.........

Just noticed on the metoffice the main orange warning has switched to the NW

We have a good covering now probably gone in the morning though Came down well for an hour or so Roads paths and gardens all white............

Its come and its heavy and its rain...great... turning sleety!! Now snow but to wet on the ground.............

Well looking at rain today it has now mainly changed to rain / best sleet for me Nothing as yet though.

We have nothing left now and after a couple of short sharp showers of snow yesterday we only had rain earlier today Took the lights down earlier and it doesn't feel cold enough for us to get that much and also not being that high doesn't help!!!!!

Went to Manchester to see the family today over the M62 After 12 hours plus of quite heavy rain and windy weather last night with nothing white Hit sleet at Leeds then snow at Huddersfield then rain dropping down in to Rochdale On the way back quite heavy sleet at Rochdale the nothing all the way back but a decent covering of snow on the tops.....

Warmest its been here for nearly 2 weeks now hit 5oC All flat snow gone and its just started raining but the wind is coming from east / north east

It has just stopped here I will after a few more Vodka and Cokes go and measure Wrapping presents for the wife (she did all the kids) Just watched a neighbour trying to get on his drive ha ha ha Ice under the snow for 7 days now no chance dumped it on his lawn Pictures to follow Less than a inch but the best so far since Feb 09 Actually drizzle (rain at the mo)

Why the hell have I got about 5cm (not complaining) Been snowing for 1hr 30mins now and still coming down?

Well we have had about 5cm in just over an hour and we are north of Sheffield!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting heavier as I type...LOL

Just been out to check getting a bit heavier must be 4cm now now not bad in an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am south east of Leeds (not by much though) It has been snowing for 50mins now and we have a decent covering on top of the ice (best so far this winter actually)
