Heavy snow in Antrim. Have 3cm in about 30 mins. Main roads are a nightmare now. Everywhere covered.

The METO warning map starting to look messy now, so many warnings in force. Hoping we get a good dumping of snow

METO Amber warning for this afternoon Snow showers will be heavy and frequent through the rest of Tuesday, gradually easing off during the early hours of Wednesday, with a further slow improvement expected through Wednesday daytime, as showers become less heavy and less frequent. Some high ground is likely to see 15-25 cm building up, especially above 200-300 metres. At low levels throughout the warning area, 5-10 cm will be more typical. Showers will be accompanied by hail and lightning at times, while strong winds bring the potential for temporary blizzard conditions and drifting of lying snow, mainly over high ground.

Disappointed this morning to see about a cm lol But METO warnings being updated. Looking good. There is likely to be an increase in snowfall amounts this evening, especially for parts of southern Scotland and Northern Ireland for which a separate Amber warning will be in force

Now I may be wrong, but in this recent run the low has moved alittle south, needs a bit more tho. Recent run on left.

I never really trust automated. But heres hoping. Fingers crossed the low is much further South, its about time we had something good.

Started as sleet for ages here and ground was soaking but Huge flakes falling in Antrim now and starting lie.

Been crazy in Antrim. Was very heavy and lying. Huge flakes. Roads bad. Main roads and motorway too.

My street this morning ? It was clear last night. Surprise snow overnight ? wasn't expecting it.

Its a shame about Sunday But still happy with what ive got. Had the dog out for a walk and its deeper than yesterday the overnight showers helped top it up. Also something ive never seen before, it looked like the snow was Evaporating. There is sort of mist above the snow, Tired to take a picture but didn't come out good.

I see NI Weather has an amber warning out for Southern counties for Sunday, Fingers crossed

Heavy showers all Night and throghout today not much melting. Measured it on my outdoor storage box. Its flat. ?? Hope Sunday is good too.
