Hammering it down in Antrim town!! Blizzard conditions.

Wind really picking up here. There was a slight dusting last night. I've got everything crossed today.

Looks pretty good. Frequent showers tomorrow and Thurs mainly in the east but some towards north coast. then widespread prolonged snow with disruption. ?

Just seen Barra's forecast. He is very fond of saying "snow mainly for the hills" been saying it all winter. It definitely won't be mainly or the hills.

Yay good. Mine decided to pack in yesterday ahh. Hopefully nothing major. It mad a whining sound then stopped. Won't come on!! Got the fire going. Thankfully have that lol. It's got a back burner so heats the radiators and water. Ps love the Christmas lights under snow.

Been watching models for years now, never really comment on them but been watching this easterly on the models since the start. its amazing to watch. Getting very excited now. Live in eastern Northern Ireland and we generally do very well with this kind of setup. Most memorably of recent times was the easterly in 2013 gave us 41cm and huge snowdrifts of up to 10ft to 20ft in places. Unfortunately a lot of problems to with around 150,000 losing power and lost of live stock for many farmers. Only one run and I know this is far out but it does look like a nice feature!

Been watching the models for days now. Haven't really commented. I never do much with regards to models in case I make an idiot of myself. But wow omg they are looking amazing.

Snowing here in Antrim. Very very lightly. We went for a wee fly today in the fields near us. Nice few cm's here from yesterday/last night. Nothing to write home about but nice to see.

It's more rain than snow. I mean proper white fluffy snow that leaves proper covering.

Heavy sleet here in Antrim. It's leaving slushy covering on the cars. Hope it turns to snow.
