    Easter Sunday 23.03.08
  5. Overnight rain gave 1mm of rain, grey and overcast start to the day but sun now trying to break through Temp 8.1c No wind Pressuere 998.6
  6. Snow shower in northern lakes,still very blustery, thin cover sun now breaking through
  7. Several more snow showers in northern lakes not settling at low level very gusty wind
  8. Arrived at campsite close to Blencathra in northern lakes at 18:00 with heavy snow shower in progress fells starting to get a covering
  9. Rain kicked off at 11:30 light and patchy since with odd heavier burst. Wind has picked and making it feel rather cold. Temp 6.3c Pressure 1009.9 and falling Wind 13.4mph WSW

  11. Carrying out my own snow chase over easter - Helvellyn, Scafell, Blencathra and Skiddaw
  12. Looks as if my trip up the M6 over Shap Fell on Friday morning could be interesting

  14. I will be driving over Shap Fell Good Friday morning so rather hoping any serious snow holds off until I get up to the northern lakes

  18. Moulton - North Northants. Was just getting ready for bed at 00:57 and low rumbling sound started which I thought was a lorry coming up the lane which would have been unusual given my rural location and the time of day, rumbling and shaking got steadily worse and ended with a very loud bang. I rushed through to front of house expecting to see a lorry through the front of the house. Whole event was probably 10 - 15 seconds. I rushed outside and was nearly hit by a bird they were loads of birds flying about. No dogs barking or alarms going off though. No one else was about so I Sky news on for details No damage noticed and not had chance to talk to neighbours yet

  20. Temp has just risen above freezing at 13:45. Fog slowly lifting, with trees and bushes still covered in frost, no sign of sun yet
  21. Still very foggy and cold currently -3.6c in rural Northants if his snow is from fog will it be Snog hopefully I will get some snogging soon
  22. News reports of snow falling in East Lynn near Kings Lynn and a friend of mine has rang and said snow falling near Rugby
