  11. Lake District - near Keswick Beautiful sunny start and feeling warm. Cloud has moved in from the south but still feeling warm and tiny patches of blue sky still visible. Fell tops all clear.
  12. Lake District - near Keswick Early morning mist then warm and sunny all day On and around Place Fell next to Ullswater all day one of those magical glorious lakeland days very warm not a breath of wind very little haze

Lake District - near Keswick Cloudy for most of the day untill late afternoon, maximum temp of 20.2c virtually no wind and has felt very pleasent, no climbing today, preparing for tomorrow around Ullswater area. Cloud above Great Dodd, Clough Head and Blencathra which I can see from my verandah where I am typing this, although skiddaw looks to have a mantle of cloud at present, sunshine just breaking through again hopefully will burn back this cloud to give one of those magical lakeland days tomorrow

  17. Reached a maximum of 26.3c here, close to my max for the year of 26.6c and now 22.6c comtemplating driving up to the lakes tonight in the relative cool rather than tomorrow which looks like being another warm one

  23. Sunny here all day with gusty winds from the south west, warm in the sunshine, checking on the webcam in Langdale, lake district, shows that it has been belting it down all day, water cascading down the hillside below Pavey Ark
