  7. I know I can be pedantic at times but I see your totals for West, South & East Yorkshire but why is North Yorkshire split into North West and North East especially if you are predicting the same amounts? I think East Yorkshire is a tad on the low side but, hey, what a nice surprise for all of us if it comes off and it is looking increasingly likely!! gobby
  8. LINK There seems to be a fair amount of white stuff up there. Hope it can make landfall. Wind has been NNW much of the day. gobby
  9. Looks like we may be getting an unexpected surprise for inland Lincolnshire & East Yorkshire?? SURPRISE!!
  10. Just been watching the 3rd Round FA Cup reply - Bristol City v. Cardiff. It's in Welsh and on Ch S4C which is 134 if you have SKY HD but the funny thing is watching the professional footballers trying to play football in a snow storm. I think if they played for 2 whole days neither team would score a goal!! gobby
  11. If there is a night to get an early sleep then tonight is it as I can see a few people being glued to the radar tomorrow evening.
  12. Aaaarghh, look who made it into the local newspaper this week - centre stage.... Those stripes on my shirt look like tightly packed isobars!! Should have had a word with them about airbrushing my 2nd chin!! gobby
  13. Just a reminder that a Netweather 5 minute radar subscription is just £3.49 per month or £23.95 for a year and is very good value. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=other;type=radar;sess= gobby
