Hi All Got a meeting in Chester-Le-Street driving up the A1 from York. Does anyone have any forecasts for roads around this area? Cheers -

Almost stopped here. Measured 3cms off the top of the van although the perception is greater than that. No grass to be seen on the ground etc.

We've got the big flakes now although, Lewis, it seems like there is a clearance in the Bridlington Area and heading down towards Hornsea? Is this moving inland? gobby

The weather girl on BBC said it would be rain, sleet and snow coming from the North. More like rain and sleet on the coast. Hope she's wrong. gobby

Just got back from a trip to Whitby. Pretty dicey on way back between Whitby & Scarborough over the top as the traffic was at a standstill for long periods and many vehicles were turning round. 5 hour round journey inc. 1 hour in Whitby for fish and chips
