  1. Lewis Thanks for your forecast. I know you enjoy doing it but it is still appreciated. gobby
  2. Thats good for Louth. I think someone on here mentioned that they hadn't had much. It's good that they can join in the party too and I think they will have even more to come during the weekend and into next week. gobby

  8. No but this does: http://www.sat24.com/Region.aspx?country=scan&sat=ir&type=loop Several times this morning, I've looked out of the window thinking it was starting to snow when it was the wind blowing the snow out of the trees. A sign that the wind is starting to pick up!! gobby
  9. Looks like a small feature has developed heading into East Anglia which has sucked the life out of the weather that was heading towards us from Denmark. Think we'll have to look to the feature coming in from the NE instead. A fluid situation and a forecasters nightmare. Right!! Off back to bed gobby
  10. All forecasts are suggesting this Northe Sea low is going to hit East Anglia however it's track seems a bit more northerly to me and it also appears to be developing a lot more than I was expecting. I would appreciate any comments from some of our wiser and learned weather buffs. http://www.sat24.com/scan Many thanks gobbyash
  11. Fairy dust? PS Thats one big streamer off the south coast............
  12. NO, I think it will hit Lincolnshire and South Lincolnshire but that it was also hit East Yorkshire. Every forecast I have heard today has said that it would hit East Anglia as far north as Lincolnshire and as far south as the South East. Cheers gobby
  13. Looks to me like this low in the North Sea is tracking further north than predicted and developing which would be good news for East Yorkshire as it was forecast to hit areas Lincolnshire and further south. One to watch!! 15. Paul Hudson - Latest Blog http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulhudson/ I'm on an outside broadcast in Stamford Bridge, East Yorkshire, this evening. I will add more as soon as I can free up some time, and will comment about how well this was predicted and possible explanations for the type of weather we are having. He's gonna be in Stamford Bridge between 6:30 and 7pm. Does anyone fancy snowballing him live on air? gobby
