All passing us by again, lol.........roll on the spring :)
-
Hi and thank you Jimmy.
Ssh, that's been rightly consigned to Room 101.
Just a footnote to my streamer post above, one concern I have is pressure building from the NW and
suppressing any shower activity, so fingers crossed. What's really frustrating is that a couple of days
ago, that high to our west was forecast to be a couple of hundred miles further north, which would've meant
more of the SE likely to see some snow showers, as well as a longer window of opportunity. And if my Aunt
was my Uncle, blah, blah, blah....Anyway,its the dish we've been served, lets hope that some areas still
get to see some white stuff, over the next day or so.
Tom.
The good old Snow Cup, think I got the Runners Up spot 3 years ago, how ironic now when we have had just one dusting this winter and nothing last year.... lol
-
We have had a dusting here, grass and paths got a dusting. Might get a few more showers to add to it hopefully today
-
BBC Weather says possible snow showers on Wednesday, something we are keeping an eye on.....hardly convincing though and the term just showers isnt encouraging
-
Might have to turn the heating off if the temperature rises anymore ......
-
The BBC forecasts arent really convincing me at the moment, just seems chilly days coming up 4-5 degrees, hardly a mention of any snow.....

Not hear mate, snowed for about 5mins so far this cold spell
-
Wet snow starting to fall here in the last 5 mins, my daughter is at the window as shes never really seen snow falling, not sure who is more excited, haha. Would love to build her an Olaf
-
Still waiting for anything here in Barling
-
-
Grass melted, tiny bit on the roofs and slushy on the cars, pretty pathetic but it was a start! Lol
I know how you feel mate, lol...lets see what the early hours bring...
-
My earlier estimate of Liverpool to NW Wales would now be refined further west on looking at 90 minutes of radar scans.
Would put the Low closer to Dublin Bay now, so next few hours will be critical to see if it can get any eastwards momentum!
You still got settled snow in Eastwood Paul?
-
Same here. Set the alarm for about 4am mate...
Sounds like a plan mate, fingers crossed we see something
-
Had 10 mins of heavy snow here, stopped now, nothing has settled, just looks like its rained, moons back out, oh well, back to the radar
-

My brother lives in Malham and when i spoke with him today there was not very much at all.He came down to the Wakefield area this afternoon and drove through Skipton. The precipitation never got far enough north. It does, however, seem they have had some snow this evening.
OK, thanks for that my friend
-
Just thought Id pop in to your room to say some great pics of the snow being posted and glad you are enjoying it as we've had about 3 flakes down in Essex, haha.....can anyone tell me roughly how much snow has fallen in the Skipton area? Thanks
