The ground is baked hard, may stop the spontaneous combustion of the foliage but most will spin off , heavy rain tends to fly off to our lower points ,to prove the point if your still allowed ..put the hose pipe like heavy rain would be and ten minutes, ..hour couple of hours most of it will now take your topsoil into neighbours garden once it becomes this hard it takes a fair bit over time ..not whoosh at once ,its like the opposite of getting blood out of a stone Penatration was word I was looking for

What honestly scares me most is ...we hope for a wet winter ..forget snow ..wet winter will be a god send,to the point we won't be moaning about cold rain, any rain will do ,but as weather people we know the polar vortex relies on temperature variation ..but what I hope is ,it doesn't tighten its belt further and further north so we say cor frost lovely but still dry as a bone ...like a man in the desert would say

Gota fria eh ,its usually where he Costa blanca gets most of the rain it needs for the following year isn't it but my dads lived there 29 years and even they are tailing off ,so gawd knows where Madrid etc al get there's from -

Cor bet your melting mate hope having a great time ... i guessed you being you would have gone to the doldrums or there abouts lol ,I said long time ago my pond had dried out ,how deep the drieness was ,how it takes so much longer because of lag to get our selfs wet again ..its dire ,but surely people must see it coming ,we don't say on our thread its dry for a laugh or.its not gonna do this or that not like on run to run on model thread ..dry is dry, the deeper , the more scary ..honest

Well I'm saying i was stunned ..it did rain and for a while too,actually put window wipers on and got puddles and everything ,monsoon for us here ,but thats our lot for a while i guess and getting warmer and for a lot longer this time it says , not boiling.like 40c odd but a run at 25-30c ,and dry too And for once I was happy it was damp squib of a day
