  1. Cor your lucky there ,one question ,we here in deepest South east are used to weak fronts from Atlantic systems no surprise there.i know ( although least this mornings one wet the ground (just) looking at the models the same front by time it gets to Paris intensifys to give decent spell of rain again like the west of England,Wales Scotland and mid northern France but not here ..why ??
  2. This should have been posted in *make us laugh in the lounge thread* 1.2.3. Pics of radar ..half hour or so in-between..dirty great showers (not storms )that WOULD be pushing the boat out ,streaming down Essex coast, come to the Isle of sheppey,if anything organised themselves better ..but for unknown reasons they will not x M20 ...to the point they change direction of last 80 odd miles to head up westwards M26 ,perhaps they just going round M25 ..perhaps we here have an hostile environment Yea see what I mean mate stopped at the running horse roundabout shot up westwards I think ill call it a night ,throw the towel in as they say ...someone somewhere might need it ..but not here
  3. So does mid Kent..lol saying that action all round just not here
  4. See the hefty shower over Hoo / Stood is having great difficulty again to cross the M20 just like the ones from the south.or East or West ,seems wind direction is irrelevant here dry as bone all day, sad but true
  5. Lovely photos mate ...but don't you have water at the end of them old pepples ..Still waiting for a spit or spot here
  6. Well follow that thin corridor not the storm one the dry sunny one next door to it and I'll be the other end of it lol (don't expect an oasis though ..we are on rationing )..jacko this morning Jacko this afternoon..Nixie tonight by our form
  7. Well no really cool breeze here in Bromley but was overcast warm 24c sun out now but what ever pops up moves away ,tbh i thing we have been muggyied off again as in we here are building beautiful soaring towers then they take off ,so some else sees the show..
  8. Makes you laugh with showers moving over caen with a slight nw track showers to our east are moving north in-between jacko..atm
  9. I was working my self in Langton Green and I've never had to use a hydraulic breaker on a one and and a half tonne machine to dig a metre for a soak away..or drainage, it was like concrete ..but yea lovely ..if only for the novelty:-) in normal soil that is
  10. Yea the South East mate is a too big an area .. there's is the south east then there is Kent and Sussex we would have been better storm wise still stuck to Northern France or my case Belgium,I would like to see the bloke who let that bloody north sea through ...set like winter isn't it nothing hardly below m4 expecially the further south and east you go ...got tomorrow though lol Ps is the channel still like a mill pond ? Not that I know what a mill pond is any more ..dried up here ..
  11. It wasn't that much better Nick in your old haunt..Tunbridge Wells but then its an odds on favourite really ..seems that way anyway...lizzie rizzini says on London morning weather its hit and miss i look into her eyes not the symbols lol ..but think to myself liz its defiantly more miss that hit
  12. Tunbridge Wells ,yea rained but just a bit moist in the gutters now ...bar is so low even thats good to see
  13. Isn't it still relatively warm aloft in our patch compared to others ?haven't looked ee but I'm waiting for you for detail lol,ie ,tomorrow maybe better but the front may over come that a bit today
  14. We have some beefy clusters in channel at moment but the first one has scaled itself down in area and by the looks heaviness as its approaching Brighton let's hope it doesn't become one of those days again
  15. Yea we down ere don't get proper anything lol ,except the sun and stifling at that,if we miss out tomorrow then the low isn't proper one and the the occluded front has concluded its not going to do what text book says it should and spark off some showers south of London for a change, cross fingers
  16. No need to tell me seb I know, I did here a rumble in Bromley Swanley was quite wet but already dried out half hour later ..time I got to seven oaks nothing but I didn't expect nothing here I never do in Tonbridge, either ,it only happens if it really has too ,ie it would look odd otherwise lol ,but my daughter was in Croatia on holiday had a couple of cracking storms there ,she lives in Berlin..she just landed there and got home .....dad she said its only followed me ...lol ... WARNING SHE SWEARS ... VID-20220815-WA0003.mp4
  17. Last shower in that line gave a rumble over Bromley but since died out ..Hoo peninsular has had one all afternoon by the looks of radar (this side of Thames i mean) rest are north of it
  18. Exactly...some places staying dry ..well we all know where they are lol ,if you sort of lived 50 odd years in samish area you get the drift ..I know things change and to our disappointment its 'as our own met office ,scientists,(wouldn't say computer or numerical models) ..don't think they quite come to the cutting edge of years to come yet, 144 hrs maybe ,but not 144 years ...but we ourselves know things are not right (ps ..only not right to what we are used to ,don't forget Kent was a tropical lagoon 150 million years ago....thats 100 pc true
  19. Drone footage of Bewl Reservoir in East Sussex showing the effect of the heatwave on water levels in the area WWW.MSN.COM I shot this at Bewl Reservoir in East Sussex on 12 August 2022 and it clearly shows how low the water levels in the reservoir are getting, as we head into a time of hosepipe bans and rainless skies. Bewl reservoir...
  20. Blimey don't get struck off the list ..my friend just landed at Stansted and said first time I've landed *daytime* and been knocked back by the heat...don't forget pictures ...even if you have to say can we swap seats for the minute *for se regions sake lol *hope all is well mate I could have watered everyone's garden ten times with whats gone down drain ..but hope it goes strait to the darenth ..its poorly
  21. Hap hazard you mean lol ..thats Tonbridge out of the game then we struggle at the best of times...please feel free to move these as its not a se subject but my daughter is in split Croatia, dad,she said, this was last night you would loved it (brought them up right haven't I lol ) but sadly last pic is in SE waters patch its been leaking for 2 weeks ..no sign of action there ..:-(
  22. I see the latest gfs run has cut our odds of 20mm accum precip at 384h to between 2mm to 5mm between North Kent-sussex coast perhaps the big man in the sky been told no sprinkling as well
  23. We here in saharabridge got by gfs standards 20mm by September..I'm washed away with it
  24. And I had fantastic day in Gravesend gorgeous sun and beautiful north eastly wind ...just the ground is like dust ..yea hit and miss ain't good and don't forget the lag ..soil moisture takes a fair while to work down
