    Just had a light dusting of snow here in Brecon but mostly melted again. Hope we get a bit more later! It's good compensation for our freezing holiday so far!

    I so need to move up the hill. Carol Kirkwood said that there is 13cm of snow in parts of High Wycombe. We have about 3cm here... Snowing lightly still

    So it's looking horribly marginal for us on Sunday. However, Sunday is my husband's birthday and last year it snowed in bucketloads on my birthday (4th Feb) so my hopes are all hanging on another birthday snow event!

    It's been snowing on and off all day round south Bucks. Mostly melting on roads and cars, but the last lot has been settling on grass. Interesting how it seems to be generated from London!

    After the snow last night, I also have less than I had before - a depressing morning... I hate it when it has to end - I've been really snappy this morning and I realised it's all snow related. I need to get a grip!

    Good idea but not really any breeze here at the moment. Oh ok - that sounds plausible. It looks amazing but slightly concerning for the school run tomorrow!

    Ok, so it's been snowing here all day - very light mostly so not much accumulation. Now the radar is clear and I can see stars overhead, but under my lamp post it looks like someone is pouring glitter down very lightly. Doesn't look like snow under the lamp post - very sparkly - any ideas??! It has also turned the snow on the grass and cars etc sparkly!

    My snow has gone flat too - boooo! The snow penguin is holding up well though.

    Still snowing here - has been constant since 8.30am although much lighter now. Wish I could blow some over to those of you who haven't had any yet

    Just posted these in the London and SE thread but thought I'd post here too as I'm on the borders of both This is how it's looking in High Wycombe at the moment and it's still coming down. It was very light small flakes to start with but has really picked up in the last hour or so.

    Totally! Closet snow geek here, although my husband keeps outing me at embarrassing moments at parties etc. I think it's to get his own back for all the hours I spend on here. Having to keep my mouth shut in the playground is the funniest - other mums saying 'I hope there's no more snow coming' and I say, 'Well it seems to be forecast for Friday' in a vague, not-really-interested kind of way...
