right I think I need Prozac now,i been in the mad model thread, my god it can fry your head in there, some are saying its over and some saying big snow on way.how can they be so different in what they take from the models? no more in there for me coz I don't have any Prozac and they are nuts in there lol. im just looking out the window and wait and see what happens and today its drizzle maybe tommor will be diff.

I see the charts are now showing the cold has moved again, its coming next winter now ha ha. I love the affect it has on people I find it very funny. doesn't make my day but makes me smile. anyway lets take bets on when if the cold comes in and snows. I think it be here on 22nd jan 2029. as long as we all turn our ovens off from now until then or we in trouble.

I see Keith they starting to get excited again in the mad model thread ha ha, I wasn't being funny at all with you mate hope you didn't think that, i just don't listen to them graphs or models unless they are a day or 2 away any more as last year I was put on Prozac because of them ha ha.

I don't wish to be rude but again that is 10 to 20 days away, may as well be in Hobbit land as far as the models charts have been as reguards to cold and snow ha ha, i hope they are correct but from what I have seen in the past 10 to 20 days away could mean more floods or even some sun or it could even mean cold they just to much guess work that far away. but better to look at that chart than one with pouring rain

well I myself think it is going to get colder, but that can be expected as it is jan. but as for lots of snow and prolonged cold weather im not so sure guys. not very often do we in wales get that sort of weather. I hope we do for the kids but I think lots could be very disappointed come next weekend. if the cold does dig in then we got a chance but will the cold get this far and for how long. I notice the nights are getting lighter now as well. I think we may know by thurs or fri and maybe have to buy a exra loaf of bread lol. I know I have asked many times about the models etc, but does anyone else think these models are not very good? they go from cold blizzards to mild and rain within hrs and always change back and forth. is there any real point in them that far away? and why don't they just get published when they got a fair chance of being correct, ie like 2 or 3 days away. and if they didn't publish them out in f1 you would not get all them crazy people going mad in the model forum ha ha. I fear for some of them they need to take some calms before they go mad.

I find it real funny how the moods change every half hr in there. there really is some very upset people in there and they are very very anxious for the ecm to keep faith or they are openly saying that's it 3 rd time etc etc ha ha

Andy be fun if that does come off, just reading on models thread a few not happy about last lot out and waiting for the next lot ecm in about 45 mins. if that does not give what they want there be riots in there ha ha.

yes you are correct to be reluctant, too many times in the past have the charts shown epic runs for the future and then within a day or 2 they have gone over to another world ha ha. the charts have been saying this for quite a while but are still a bit to far away for anyone to put them as a shoe in. need a few more runs before people start to get very excited.

Morning Andy is it me or is this cold weather moving further away? 4 days ago people where saying 10th of jan and some where saying no it be by 15th jan. But now lots of charts and people are saying the 19th so it does seem to be just as far away today as it was 4 days ago. what is your take on that and happy new year to you.

I myself would not take anything for granted to what weather we are going to get in 11 days, many many times this has been said we going to be in the freezing, easterly(beasterly) at 240hrs.and things change back to wet and wind. best sit tight and wait and see what the weather gods bring. I now only take notice 3 days away from what ever weather they give (well rain mostly ha ha). Would be very nice to have some dry cold weather now to try and kill off these bugs and viruses and also dry out the ground a bit. AND THEN LOTS AND LOTS OF SNOW LOL

glad you are ok Andy,that happened to a friend of mine and it also started a fire, he had compensation and they paid for the damage to the house. I bet there was lots of pools in them lanes on way upto you when we had that awful rain the other day? not as good as the snow when I drove up there ha ha

they said on the weather today that this year has been the wettest the uk has ever had. not sure what news channel it was on, it didn't surprise me mind. and guess what we going to have more over the next few days. never mind not long now to the new year and maybe just maybe we could have a better year with the weather. fingers crossed we have a bit of dry cold weather and then dare not say it,a nice summer (please)

so if we all open our freezer doors will that help to cool things down a bit and stop this melting ha ha, all jokes aside is this going to get worse you think or could we go back to having some chance of nice sunny (ish) summers and norm other seasons? I myself guess this sort of weather must have happened many times before our time, and could just be part of a cycle. I just hope the cycle goes away for another 50 years and gives us norm seasons ha ha. cheers guys for some interesting info.

thanks for explanation but why over the last few years do things seemed so much wetter, i don't mean just winter I mean even our summers have been producing large totals of rain, and yrs ago we had fairly nice summers, a few weeks of dry and sometimes sunny weather.it may be me but it does feel much more rainy months than yrs ago. thanks

thanks and most ov what I was saying was tongue in cheek, but Wales is very wet and means as I live right up the mountain we do get huge amounts of rain and it does get on my nerves but I do know I cannot do anything about it, same as the cost ov petrol ha ha

firstly I never said its when going on holiday, i visit many countries over the years for many reasons other than holidays and still not come across one as wet as where I live in wales and I have also visited at diff times of the year, I am not trying to lead anyone into thinking its wetter than it has been as some places have been far wetter than others and the valley areas have far more rain than some other areas. and the last few years have been wetter than when I was a kid,but what I want to know is can you please name these many other wetter countries that you spoke about earlier as im struggling expesh the ones by the atlantic. and I also don't understand why you keep saying that I think I can affect the weather, I know I cant do anything to affect the weather, but I also cant affect how much petrol will be tommor and how much a pint ov beer will be next week. and just to let you know im not going to try and affect that either.

I have never said weather is the subject for me, and I still don't understand why the uk gets all this rain, when I was a kid we didn't get anywhere near this amount that the last few years have dropped on us so that's why I asked, and as for getting half the rain compared to many other countries could you name them for me please as all countries I have visited I have never been to a wetter place than wales, and what other countries are stuck off the atlantic that get as much rain as us?and I know there is nothing I can do to change the weather but I am allowed to moan about it. and the weather wont ever make me go mad, the kids do that ha ha

no surprise to me to be honest it has rained and rained here for ever and my next house is going to be a house boat. I still for the life ov me don't understand how the uk (wales and s west) seem to get more rain than anywhere, the other countries have dry sunny weather and cold dry and yes some rain but we just get rain from jan to dec and if we are lucky we get 6 hrs of sun and 2 frosts ha ha, gutsfull is a understatement. no more rain and poxy wind.

There be lots and lots of rain for uk as that's all we ever seem to get,beginning to think our climate is just wet and windy for all 4seasons. We have very depressing weather in uk and Wales gets some of the worst ha ha

just went out the back door and it is still hammering down,i wonder what it is like further down the valley and towards bridgend now? I saw pictures on facebook a few hrs ago and if Bridgend had not had put them flood defence in a few years ago bridgend would be under water right now,even with the defence it only about 2 feet from the top.

Tony when is that for? tonight ? now? tommor? its quite scary now to be honest. never ever have I seen it like this around here. I keep saying no more rain please but it just seems to be getting worse and worse. I heard on the tv weather that tonight was going to be dry and then rain tommor and dry xmas eve.fingers crossed we have a break.

worst conditions I have ever seen around here, we emptied our log bin last night at about 12.30 in the morn and just went out to measure it and there is 4 inches of water in there and it is not right out the garden its right by back door so would have thought it be slightly protected, this rain is just nuts. rain rain go away and don't come back until we ask.. glad I live right up here and not down the low areas by the river. I think if we did have another 4 to 5 hrs of heavy rain it will go over a bridge here as it has been touching it for the last hr.
