    Well, I came back from the Wirral just in time! About 1.5 inches of level (great snowball making) snow here. If nothing else, at least i've seen it!

    Still snowing here...about 1 to 1.5 inches on the road/pavements and about 2 on the grass. And i've seen some of the biggest snowflakes ever in my life. £2 coin and bigger

    Snowing atm in Biggin Hill...even starting to stick to the roads!

    Nope, inches. If I had to err on the side of caution, i'd say nearer 5 inches. It is absolute chaos up here!

    Still snowing here, powder dry snow too, about 5-10 inches so far. Towns shut, my airports shut (as are Stanstead, Luton, City and Gatwick may shut soon, which could be fun as all the diverted flights are trying to get in there! :shock: )

    EXCELLENT...Complete whiteout here, can't see the streetlight 5-10 meters away...literally just had massive lightning and thunder, It's incredible

    Good morning all! Started snowing at about 0150, settled immediatly. Woke up this morning and we've got about 3-5 cm. The gritters didn't work, 'cause the road's outside my house is turning intocompacted ice as I speak! Roll on the second wave! :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Snowing here since 1:50am, still going, but I hope the snow has more energy than I do...! I'm off to bed!

    Ladies and gents.... FIRST SNOW SHOWER FOR ME!!! Don't know when it happened, but it's settled. All outdoor water's frozen and the snow settled happily on top. Even on non-frozen surfaces! :lol: Come on you south-easterners....main stuffs not even here yet!

    Just flown to Belfast City and back from Biggin Hill. All I can say is that Ireland may of had some rain earlier, but it's clear as a bell there when we left, and....what a surprise! Get back to London and find low cloud and drizzle...lovely flying weather
