    Only a few cm here Lodgemoor Sheffield..they say rush hour will get bad, but looking at the radar i can't see how.

    I bought an entry level station at Christmas, 69.99 reduced in sale to 39.99.. Unfortunately they got recalled due to a faulty anemometer ..have to wait till next weekend for a new one

    I hope so. I had to take my weather station back to maplin so i have no idea of the temps dropping :-(

    We had two intense lightning strikes, seemed to explode just above your head..earpopping pressure ! And the thunder made the house shake... Brilliant!!

    The porter brook in sheffield was high yesterday. Not overflowing but a raging torrent compared to its normal flow

    Mega melt here, fields are all green only the drifts and compacted bits remain..i have an interesting slushy pond in my garden

    Just checked lightning detector ..looks like it was a strike..

    Hubby is sat facing window..says he's pretty sure it was sheet lightning ..hope we get a few more

    Pretty sure we just saw lightning..that or a sub station blew up..sat in livingroom with light off and it lit the room up

    Just nipped out to measure..in total 11 inch probably got four last night..

    Wow..huge dumping up here overnight, sadly temp is 1.6°c already and i can hear the drip of a steady thaw. Well it was fun whilst it lasted :-) next doors cat just bunny hopped down the road, funny watching it disappear up to its head every time.

    Met office project that southern flank to pep up between three and six. I've been using their app for a while now, precip projections usually not too far off.

    Just had a look at the radar, the front looks to be moving pretty quick. Want it to wait till dusk at least..so the temps are nice n low. Recorded a high of 2.1° yesterday hope it stays cooler today, was -4 when i got up at 5am

    Getting slightly bigger flakes up here now. Got a nice covering. Perhaps just over an inch now, will nip out and measure later.

    Hope the front stalls when it gets here..looking at the speed its moving it'll be a case of blink and you'll miss it otherwise

    Few cm here, roads and pavements clear. My weather station registers -1.1 currently. Not sure how accurate that is. If there's anyone near me who could compare their readings i would really appreciate the feedback
