Have just asked on sheff fourm and no one seems to be reporting power outages in any areas yet. Is there a source for this information?

Just been out with metal tape mesure.. 7.9 cm of fresh at the moment from the wall on my earlier picture. this was free of snow last night. still snowing up here but is light/startings of moderate

Sheffield has ground to a halt (well just about) First have pulled all busses, reports of accidents allover the place and still the snow falls. Hope it does not pull down the electric cables.. that would be bogus yet a bit exciting too.. God I am loving this weather

well it's been snowing well for about 1hr15 and this is what we have so far..can't find a ruler, estimate around 10 cm allready

sounds good, radars full of it.. still quite light here. Will be well gutted if it misses Sheff. Looking at the rain today radar it should be here in the next half hour

not long I recon Just got up with the babs and his sore gums.. just a light dusting here,still snowing lightly. Hope it peps up a bit..looking at the radar it's due any time now.. the heavy stuff..or it better be grrr

Indeed, and you can bet all the schools will close.. well at least I can go sledging. I hope to see at least 10 cm tomorrow.. anything less and I will be gutted

Aww Lewis, how sweet can't wait for tomorrow, with a good few inches allready on the ground up here and the elevation I am praying for that foot paul mentioned on the weather report

we still have about three inch left from before xmas up here.. cant wait for next week.. may even reach a foot

started here about ten mins ago, adding nicley to the old covering

well I hope it brings plenty for us, it'll make twisting my ankle on the ice worth it theres about two inch thick of ice on all the pavements up here

we had a nice covering earlier, gained about 5cm in places. Gone a bit soggy now. Hopefully when the sun sets and the temp drops it will freeze nicley for the pelting we should see later
