stopped up here too, but I can see another big beefy cloud rolling over mayfield valley -
it's a proper huge flake whiteout!!!!!! if this keeps up sheffield will grind to a halt again hehe

just had a small shower of snow here, looking at the rain today radar there is a nice little band of snow hopefully heading over manchester right towards us

we seem to have caught the very edge of that band, have a light snow shower currently

Getting heavier here now, much better size flakes

Starting to get heavier up here too, just been to pop a cover over the hen run (they hate snow) and there's lumps of slushy ice in with the flakes, although the flakes seem to be winning now.. Yay

have woken to snow, I think it's just started. theres a slight covering on the garden and roofs. still seems a touch slushy though..

we still have sleet, but with a larger sprinkling of snow. Not enough to settle

currently we have huge flakes falling, would say theres a couple of inch of new stuff on the garden, although on the stuff that has been melted and pavements there is slightly less. supposed to be fetching father in law over from rotherham today ..oops

Oh I do hope so, would be lovley to see a nice patch of falling snow later this afternoon (after my trip to town of course)

well, to say we had constant falling snow up here for a few hours last night theres very little to show for it. What has settled has done so on top of the frozen slush from earlier in the day, not looking forwards to walking down for the bus in a little while. What is in store for this afternoon? will it be scatterd light showers or can I look forward to a good pelting??
