    Nice pic! Llun da;) Didnt have any strikes directly over Caernarfon yesterday, seemsed to be all around us though! Working in Bangor now, can see the clouds towering to the south...

    despite the nice echoes, noting too major (loud) here actually! basically nothing directly overhead, thunder seems to be either a few miles west and east of us.

    Unbelievable gusts here now. Very scary! Must be around 90mph gusts now. Front bedroom double glazing window frame is moving at the bottom of it!!

    Looks nasty! Im here on the NW Wales coast! 100mph... not looking forward!

    Gales here since about 7pm. Electic had gone off, now on half power, due to an electic generator caught fire just down the street! Things crashing in the garden and something fallen off the roof. Not looking forward to inspect the roof tomorrow! Scary stuff, considering it's going to get worse....!

    Very windy here too in Caernarfon. Im getting quite worried! If its like this now, its going to be a wild wild night!

    High uppers seem to hog the N and W coast until Saturday. http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rmgfs302.gif (6pm friday) Also dewpoints around 0C So borderline for snow at sea level here I think, but time will tell! Although the precipitation will be lighter on Saturday, both uppers and dewpoints fall, so more risk of snow here on Saturday
