  1. Angry skies here yesterday evening. Looking west towards Snowdonia from Caernarfon area.
  2. Pic 1. Friday morning. Light to moderate snow before dying out as it heads NE. Pic 2 and 3. Sat moring. Heavier snow away from SW.
  3. You'll get a clearer (more zooned in) chart on wetterzentrale. Doesnt look as exciting though, with the front decaying rapidly!
  4. No precipitatiin here nr. Caernarfon, despite blue and some green echoes on the radar over us. I guess the strong easterley wind is blowing the precipitation back west to sea!
  5. I think the google earth app also gives elevation by just hovering your mouse over the map
  6. METO Warning area reduced across north Wales and Midlands but increased across south Wales.
  7. rain turned to wet snow then to snow now here in Caeathro in the heavier shower moving in now on the radar.
  8. The front over Scotland will. But the upper air will be slightly warmer, and dew points above 0 so snow only on hills, inland I would think.
  9. Same HARMONIE run ,but from meteociel. 1pm (Thurs). The yellow is sleet or graupel.(soft hail)
