Met Office update is rubbish. Rain and hill Snow. I guess that's it for any snow opportunities.

Taking the GFS 18z as raw data, Bristol gets 30 hours of precipitation showing as snowfall before the milder air finally pushes through....
84h to 116h....each 6h frame in-between is showing ppn as snow!
Hopefully the Met Office are on board.

Looks really heavy in Rotherham! Watching Cardiff City v Rotherham and they've had to change to a yellow ball it's that bad.

We would need a big turnaround now to see anything noteworthy, but still a chance of some small accumulations. That would make it 3 snow events with lying snow here this winter so far, all being just a small covering, but much better than anything we’ve had here since storm Emma back in 2018.
That met office chart shows 15-20cm for parts of SE Wales on Saturday, can't see it though.

Those snow totals seem a bit high. Met office app doesn't even have snow for me Saturday.

Anyone think we'll actually see any snow or is it wishful thinking.
Forgot to mention there was a tiny dusting of snow this morning, bit more of a noticeable dusting over Caerphilly mountain.

If the Met Office model doesn't show snow for Saturday then I'm not buying it. The ICON is the odd one out here.

6 hours of snow here during Saturday evening too. God knows what's going to happen, the BBC won't show any graphics for the weekend.
