Ross, Your notebook takes a 2.5 x 5.5 mm B type plug so the Maplin option will do the trick and probably the quickest to get since you can pick it up in store. you dont have to worry about the minimum amperage as long as you dont exceed the maximum. You just need to make sure you set the voltage to be exactly the same, in this case 19 V (adjustable) and your not exceeding 6 amps (or 65 Wats approx at that voltage). you'll also need to make sure the polarity is correct. Maplin also do this one which will work fine with your notebook and will also charge USB peripherals and phones / ipods etc at same time. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=223912 It does not have the same wattage as the one you've suggested but has more than enough for your notebook, has right connector and is a newer model. I'm bringing one if these over for Ian's HP Notebook. Up to you which one you choose, just be carefull to set the voltage to 19 V and check the polarity on your existing power supply (normally positive tip, negative barrell) but check anyway to be sure before you plug in. if you have any other questions let me know Agree with dogs though, if in doubt wouldnt be any harm to bring the notebook into the store
