    Only a dusting here. Bit annoyed to hear that when this new band arrives on the right side of the pennines, it'll turn to rain before snowing again once it gets over the pennines. Yet this stuff refuses to move over. Sod's law.

    unexpected few mm covering here in the protected from easterly, lancashire valleys. Important thing here is weather warnings over the next week for ice/frost rather than wasting our time thinking about snow. Have fun you guys in the east. As for you lot in West Yorkshire, we on t'other side of t'pennines nicked a bit o'tha's snow!

    The Student Union Shop flooded here and they were expecting the weight of the water coming through the ceiling to bring it down, I'll update on this when I return from my next venture there after 6.

    My tidal research in Plymouth sound had to be cancelled today due to rough weather, that's just the harbour!! Spent the afternoon surveying a wreck in a pollutant infested lake off the sound. While surveying tidal heights in the same lake yesterday I saw an amazing sundog, so all is not too bad.
