following the snow yesterday at about 5pm. After there were numerous more seperate snow showers (how many I really don't know there must have been quite a few) right through the night leaving about 2cm at 8 this morning. Since then there have been more snow showers including a large blob on the radar which is passing at the moment. -
Thats your snow Tim! Passed here now giving a few mm's.

Starting to snow with huge flakes in Lancashire for those in the west of the country and have been given not much hope you may see snow. It looks like it may stick here at 100m. -

Snow on the morning of Christmas. This was nothing compared to the snow that afternoon. -
Lovely day here also, covering of frost everywhere and its just starting to rise above 0C. Got down to -2C this morning. Nothing spectacular but a bit different to see frost so late into the day.

Only one snow shower to report from earlier. -
One of the clouds that brought a thunderstorm to Burnley at the beginning of October. -
Mammatus from last year taken in North Burnley. -
sorry about this, nowhere else to post. Had a report of snow, only a 30 second shower yesterday in Burnley. All counts!

More hail showers last night with a flash of lightning Thanks rade -
Noticed a lightning flash last night in between heavy hail showers (yet more of them). Definetely lightning with the characteristic double flash. No thunder though.

Rade, have you any snow pictures of local landmarks in either Porec or Dubrovnik? My grandma used to go on holiday to either place with my granddad and since he passed away, she's started to develop alzeimer's type symptoms. Would be good to cheer her up with some printoffs. -

after the snow at midday, which melted, had numerous hail showers, the most severe this morning in the early hours. Is it me or are we having a lot more hailshowers than normal? -

Same here at the moment, some sort of snow at last. Looks to be making it over the pennines then and not loosing much of its force which will be good for those in the East. Unfortunetely it doesn't appear to be sticking here, the hail has turned to slush and its not making good conditions for sticking.
