    Tim 1458 capital gold been crackling all day. Will turn off my terrestial digital reciever and see if I can notice any break up on analogue. Keep me posted with anything round our area. Thanks! PS.. currently 22.7C

    Someone in Bromsgrove reporting 29C on another thread!! And his webcam shows the surrounding area as being dark and completely overcast. Its 22.3 here with clouds dotted around - http://www.burnley27.fsnet.co.uk

    Just some cumulus congestus here so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled, but as Thunder storms go, I get them once in a blue moon so not holding my breath.

    so do I, I'm next to the pennines in the Colne Valley but clouds look a little distant but I hope you're right with the colour of the clouds, even if they came close it would make my day!

    Its been static all day, don't think it can get over the pennines, shame really but where I am must be some undergoing some sort of thunder drought.

    Yep, can see stuff to the north on my webcam http://www.burnley27.fsnet.co.uk and the radar on the ribble website puts rain directly north of me, but that cloud seems too far away that what the radar is showing, looks like west yorkshire are having a few downpours but as of today here, no rain at all.

    Tim Radar is quite colourful for our area, check the ribble valley site out on my signiture for that image, its been dry all day here though, presume the same for you, must be just missing out as usual. :roll:

    Mine was a good way away just o'er pennines in Todmorden, severe with large hail. Very jealous I was.

    For Last Night: I'd like to echo the Lancaster report, however without thunder, the torrential rain was quite something dropping vertically from the heavens with speed and force.

    what is it with burnley - surrounded by Darwen and Bury yet no thunder today.

    If last years anything to go by, could be a long time before east lancs get anything decent just got the overcast grey and rainy april days to come.
