    Manchester reported lightning this afternoon, but I havnt seen anything, been at a press conference all afternoon.

    The thunderstorm I mentioned yesterday passed over Todmorden which Is why I couldnt here it being too severe but it was intense and produced a hailshower.

    Slept through that then Tim, got very very windy at about 10 past 9 this morning which is when I'd say the gusts were about 50mph

    had light snow here an hour ago, nothing major. Large clouds to west although radar suggests that precip will be coming from clouds in north but its blue skies in that direction :? . Will wait and see.

    Yeah, that effect happening here, just enquiring about a wind Ive just had, very intense lasting about 10 seconds, shook the house.

    Blizzard In Burnley, snow falling with 37kt winds. Was an IC flash of lightning as this kicked off with hailstone.

    the 68km/h winds cant be far from salford glen. Reported in Leyland 5 minutes ago. (38 mph)
