stainesbloke thanks mate! Negative for covid (3 tests including throat swab) GP suspects adenovirus as my son had pinkeye also for a few days with one night of fever and a cough. He’s fine now. It’s absolutely ruined me on the other hand! So not too bothered about missing out on any decent weather right now

Sunday looks quite nice here - really hoping I’m a little better by then so I can maybe sit outside for a bit. Genuinely the sickest I’ve ever been!

Turkey towers going up about 5-10 miles north of here

Too far south and east here but some lovely Accas filling the sky. The heat goes out with a whimper for us as usual

SakuraOwl outstayed it’s welcome? It’s been here 3 days.
It’s been like 23-24 degrees so hardly a heatwave either.

I’m calling it now, based on nothing but pessimism and a hunch, summer is going to be a bag of w**k.
Something has changed.
Also Monday doesn’t look showery here it looks kinda like the Monday or Tuesday or whenever it was just gone that was absolutely dreadful here. To get two of these ‘days’ in a the space of a week is very upsetting

In Absence of True Seasons it does make such a huge difference doesn’t it?
First night sleeping with the windows open, woke up just before 6 and was raring to go - stark contrast to the last 8 months where I wake up at 7ish and don’t feel human until about 9am.
