I am tempted to throw in the towel and call winter over.
Running out of time and future cold spell has melted away, snow in march is rarer than hens teeth away from hills.
Feel very down on this winter to be fair.
I'm waiting for the avatar change.

You have to laugh when Western Ireland gets more snow than us in Easterly sourced freezing cold air.

That's just by Broad Green! Used to live in Elm Street, round the corner. Nice snow. Wish we had some down here!

12Z GFS Sceuro Block looks 5mb weaker than 6Z at T+96, but the increased heights pushing towards Greenland earlier, so swings and roundabouts.

GFS 6z has us back in the cold by end of next week after a brief drier milder blip, we will see though.
Yeah no real end of the cold spell in sight on this run
Glad to see it looks largely dry, at least.

A few flakes floating around in Winterbourne. Scant but still very nice to see.

You know things are bad when you're chasing a small blob of snow on a radar...
There was more powder in my Pot Noodle than I've seen all year.

The precipitation is definitely pushing towards South Wales and Bristol, looks like there could be some moderate snow if it keeps intensity!
It's a bit pathetic Jay, to be honest
Maybe it'll pick up a bit.

It looks as though the bands of snizzle are slowly moving north, whilst the PPN on them moves east.
This may bring flurry chasing northwest into the Bristol/Bath/Glos area this afternoon.
Bit of action in the Bristol Channel now. Could generate its own extension of the streamer for South Wales.

Funny Looking rain under phone light
Yeah I think it's snow up above and melting as it falls. Very light anyway.

Trough forming in Cambridge. I'm going for that for our Sunday morning dusting. See you all in the chase.

It's been nice seeing the cold, sunny, fresh air days and ponds frozen over etc. but without any decent snowfall - happy for it to end now.
