Twenty Seven.

“It feels like ten karats and no clarity when I look at the man who is our ‘king,’ goes to the desert to sing war his father rehearsed and come back with flags on coffins and said; ‘we won, we won!’ Permanent Jet Lag, please take me back, I’m sure this place is sick, please let me in, I’m not tripping, singing vows before we exchange smoke rings. Give me a pen, call me Mr Benzadarine, don’t let the doctor in. Only one really matters the rest of the proof in on the television. Call me Mr Benzadarine, don’t let the doctor, don’t let the doctor in. Have you ever wanted to disappear?”
2. I love Piers he brings me my daily laugh with his complete ineptitude.
3. "You wear that necklace like an anchor." "It is..." "But its band merch." "And? This band's music get's me though, some people like X go out and get left trouser leged, someone else Y smokes a crap load of pot every day. I listen to this band. What's so bad about letting your heart be owned by the beating of a drum?" I honestly don't think I could live without this band. Folie a Deux indeedy. I can't explain a thing, I want everything, to change and stay the same, To not care about anyone to anything, come together or some apart. Oh baby when they made me they broke the mould. Wave your camera in the air like you just don't care. I will never believe in anything again, oh change will come. We will never believe in anything again. So spill your guts to a microphone stand.
4. DUDE SNOW! Real snow! *hugs photos* They are amazing! The last one is stunning!
5. “They lied to me! Butterfly bandage, but don’t worry you’ll never remember your head is far too blurry. Put her in the back of a squad car, restrain that kid! She needs her head put though a cat scan! Hey Ladeda I’m undeniable, hey Doctor! I’m certifiable! I’m a lose bolt of a complete machine, what a match; I’m half doomed and your silly sweet. Boycott love. Detox just to retox. And I’d promise you anything for another shot at life, imperfect boys with their perfect ploys. Nobody wants to hear you sing about tragedy. You got me stalemated or was I just jealous that the camera lied. Paying tolls on the highway, truck stop stalls of love, lock less jails to deny my rules. Rookie leave you gun and your badge on the desk as you leave the room.”
6. Thanks I think I spotted it last night while queing for the light switch on to open, but my friend kept insisting it was Venus and Mercury for some reason.
7. Which came first, the music or the misery? I went to sleep a poet and woke up a fraud. A cliché but I do it best. I've come to terms with behind a footnotes in someone else happiness. I've got troubled thoughts and the self esteem to match, Mr Sandman shines his beam as he enters the room, bouncing back and forth on waves, head like a steal trap. I swore I would never end up like that but behind my back I already have, 'oh darling I know what your going though.' God I try to tell you, and I get ignored, can't you see me screaming at you for help? You want to know why I kicked out at the world, regardless of the fact that it always kicks back a lot harder? Because no one is listening. Long live the carcrash hearts. The sad thing is it isn't my friends dragging me though this, it's a little blue disk spinning in my bedroom. "Crowds are won and lost and won again but our hearts beat for the diehards." The songs own the beating of my heart. I'll keep believing if you keep singing that lie. The golden rule is always the cruellest. Sometimes I wonder if its worth it, or are the lives we live just golden plated? The lights of this city are too heavy, when I catch my reflection all I see if the people who don't have time, don't listen. Cliché I know but the sewage of youth drowned the spark of my teens. A stitch away from making it and a scar away from falling apart, pray you don't grow up to be. Show me a starry-eyed kid, I wont let him get his hopes up, save him from him self a picture and a note saying; 'don't end up like me, it's only for your own good.' The stories getting old home wreckers with hearts of gold. It's been said so many times I don't think it matters, picking apart and falling apart to songs about hearts. It hurts but I think it was meant to be. Haven't you heard the word on the street? I lost it called it quits get in to the sun out from behind the gossip. Stop telling me "I know how you feel" and just listen to me for once. XO
8. Need sleep but have class. Haven't slept properly in two weeks now. Got an hour and a halfs sleep last night. Slept though meterology. Have a maths tutorial in an hour. Can't keep eyes open. Will fail if I don't make it. Need coffee.
9. Edinburgh, KB Area, U of E AWS Tair: 1.1C Tdew: -6.9C RH: 55% 1019mBar Wind speed: 3.80ms^-1 Wind direction: Northerly Wind chill: -3C Wind gust: 4.75ms^-1 24h Max/Min Mean Tair: 3.7C Max Tair: 7.1C Min: 1.1C Past weather: Snow/hail showers between 11pm - 3am this morning, clear and cold after. Current weather: freaking cold and sunny.
10. Just had another hail shower, temp 2.2C, dew - 3.4C on the uni AWS which is about 100m from me, usualy it reads about a 1C temp too high just because of its location isn't too great and its on the roof of a dark building that seems to retain heat very much. I haven't seen it that low yet here yet though year though.
11. Rossby waves are giant meanders in the high speed upper level winds, AKA The Jet Stream at mid – high latitudes. They are caused by the change in the Coriolis Force as you move away from the equator (remember Coriolis effect is stronger the closer to the poles you get.) The meanders in the Jet Stream (almost like a river) get very big, they can detach masses of cold or warm air and become high (anticyclones) or low (cyclones) areas of pressure. It’s these cyclones and anticyclones that determine our every day weather.
12. Thank you very much! Missed the damn lecture on this *headdesk* I just know its going to come up in the exam (sods law ain't it?) Thank you very much again <3
13. Large scale synopic systems exist in geostrophic ballence, but smaller mesoscale systems exist in cyclostrophic ballence. What is the major diffrences between the two? And is a Meso-low and Meso-cyclone interchangable terms or are they diffrent things?

The List!

The list. QUILS: [s]Report 1 Report 2 Report 3 Maths assignment[/s] Stats assignment Chem: [s]Report 1 Report 2 Report 3[/s] Report 4 [s]Mid term 1 Mid term 2[/s] Met [s]Assignment Mid term[/s] Lab book Coursework still to hand in Stats Chem report 4 Met lab book. dear god thank god this semester is nearly over thank you thank you thank you! unfortunetly the exams are in three weeks. Balls.
15. I'll make you proud if you give me the time. I wont let you down.
16. The difference in pressure between the high and low pressure dictates how fast this wind is going to be, this difference is the pressure gradient force. The Coriolis force balances the pressure gradient force. Air does try to move straight from high to low pressure but the earth is rotating, so everything that’s moving in the northern hemisphere gets pulled to the right by the Coriolis force. So the air starts to move round the area of high or low it is still moving down the pressure gradient from high to low just not in a straight line, in fact its running parallel to the isobars. Because of this you can use Buys-Ballots law (1857) if you are standing in the northern hemisphere and your back is to the wind low pressure is on your left. It’s also why you tend to get a lack of hurricanes in the 10 degrees or so to the equator because the further you are away from the equator the stronger the Coriolis force and hurricanes need it to start spinning, the lack of force near the equator tends not to be strong enough to get them to spin up.
17. We believe in Barack Obama He loves you and he loves your mama We believe in Barack Obama Thank god he won. The world feels slightly safer having someone with a iota of intelegence in office.
18. So if I have this right; The air movement determins the psychrometer constant which is the pressure of the water evaporated by a 1C cooling. The faster the wind speed, or the ventalation around your stevenson screen the lower the psychrometer constant is going to be. Since the lower the psychrometer constant the vapour pressure will drop, which means the RH will drop and therefore the dew point and Twet will rise. I think...

Oh My God

I can't move my neck, I have brused my ribs from the barrier, I've brused my knees from being crushed against a metal fence, I still have ringing in my ears. Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Rewind lets do it again. I want to spend my life in rooms screaming my heart out to live bands.

O_o Too Early...

OK so its 6:40am I've been up for half an hour, I'm sure thats way too early. Though the thing is I worked my little but off yesterday. I did my QUILS lab report (which has taken me three days to do peopel) my Chem lab report if finished, my Met hand in assessment is finished, all the damn stuff is finished. Then I will go to my lab later today and get given more things. Thats fantastic isn't it! On other news DT said he was escaping DW and I am now heart broken. On other news I have got no snow, have not had any snow and judging by the rain will not get any snow. I am over the snow I tell you, over it. Scotlands weather consists of: Rain: Overcast: Chilly but not cold enough for snow: Rain: Overcast: Chilly: REPEAT Screw this moving to the MidWest.
21. Ok so this if from last years past paper for my exam, and the answers arn't up (because thats helpful) and I am completely scuppered on one question. "Temperature inferred from infra red satellite imagery are used to estimate the altitude of volcanic eruption clouds which can reach up to 30KM altitude. How might this be done and what are potential problems?” [5 Marks]
22. He told me he loved me after we had been going out for two days. The L-word came along far too quickly for my liking. Now I feel so trapped, like I'm caught, like I'm a prisoner. I don't want to break his heart, but I'm going to have to break his heart because its not fair if I drag his heart along like this. He is going to hate me.
