  1. Could n't get much damper here now fully p...ing it down
  2. Updated weather warnings, look better for most, nothing for coasts.
  3. Weather pro, then you have to get an extra subscription for the full radar.
  4. I've got the iphone app from the same company that does rain today, showing a wedge of snow pushing in from the east, even with the odd sleet/snow shower just east of Liverpool around 1 am. Don't know how accurate the future casting of the radar is but this certainly was not forecast. I think it's too early to dismiss snow chances on Monday, the potential is still there.
  5. Few surprise snow showers for the east of the region looking at the radar? Also snowing up in the highlands, come on down.
  6. rain on monday for west on nae http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=prty&HH=42&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0&RES=0&WMO=&PERIOD=
  7. Local model for the irish sea http://cobs.pol.ac.uk/modl/metfcst/airtemp/latest.php?im=13
  8. Latest GFS showing rain on Monday, although I'd put it allot more trust in the NAE, it won't be over until the fat lady sings. http://91.121.16.5/m...51-574.GIF?12-6 Edit that should have been for the west, the east of the region is still on, and even the west gets snow some later on, so still some good chances for everyone. http://91.121.16.5/m...63-574.GIF?12-6
  9. NAE switches back to rain at 48 hpurs for the west, http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=prty&HH=48&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0&RES=0&WMO=&PERIOD=
  10. Where's Ian Brown, would be good to get his thoughts for Monday and early next week for the NW,
  11. NAE starting to be a bit better for those west of the m6? http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=prty&HH=48&ZOOM=0&ARCHIV=0&RES=0&WMO=&PERIOD=
  12. Looks like wirral's snow shield is fully operational for Monday on the met office warning, good luck to very one else.
  13. Still snow for us on the GEM on Monday, although it is usually a few sausages short of a barbie
  14. The GEM is showing loads of snow for the NW, so you never know...
  15. Blizzards from the 21st on tonight's run, may be the Mayans did no a thing or too....
  16. I remember back in the late 80''s getting a foot of powder snow when I was living in Leicester, almost getting lost driving home from work as the city became unrecognisable. Rang up home not even a flake just bitter driving winds, but if it ends up in a battle ground you never know.
  17. Mega easterlies in the models, not sure if there's much snow in it for us north western costal dwellers, but I suppose you've got to get the cold before the snow...
  18. Snow streamer heading south on last chart of the NAE?
  19. More low level snow showing up on the GFS 18z, even shows some for the Wirral, although that must be an error. Check out the detailed forecast on meteociel gfs 0.5 hour link.
  20. Looks like an event for the Pennines and East according to the NAE
