  1. You need your Air Temperature at 0c or below and Negative DP then the snow will start To settle. C.S.
  2. Air Temperature needs to be sub Zero for dry Snow Pleased to see you guys getting some more snow,other side of the water The wait continues for our snow fix C.S
  3. On closer inspection the TAF forecast that forecast snow showers later,I am wondering If there is a wrap round the LP as it exits to the NE dragging the colder air from the NW Similar to what happened in December from the Slider C.S
  4. Correct but the front has cleared by then,so it will be the wintry showers that are forecast Once the LP has cleared. C.S
  5. Radar is Showing the rain very close to me,there is sleet showing over Wales but it looks Like over the mountains,no excitement in the Wales thread so that sounds correct. C.S
  6. Indeed if it was news 24 it' the same forecast all day. Would imagine the forecast in 15 mins on BBC will be up to date and a lot different. C.S
  7. Airport TAF says rain,then heavy rain,then rain,then snow. Unless they have had a last minute update cannot imagine that changing Had no alerts today so I would imagine it to be correct C.S

  9. I agree but come on they must have an idea of were the threat is for example North Lancashire,Greater Manchester ETC should seems so shoddy to me,it' like me telling my customers I am going to send your plane to some were in Spain. C.S
  10. And what is irritating is the text forecast for the region tonight. Some snow to low levels and an overnight low of -3c Now then might be an idea to say low level snow in Cumbria which is likely,but no Some low level snow to low levels...where???? NW England covers a big area C.S

  13. LBA TAF is Indicating a spell of Heavy Snow from 22:00 Until Midnight but then unfortunately turns back to rain between Midnight at 1am C.S
