  2. Updated METO Outlook is fantastic if cold is your thing, covered all Basis for Friday with Rain/sleet or Snow spreading SE. Looks like any Milder incursions will be very Brief indeed Bring it on. C.S
  3. @Day 10 No arguing with that mate spot on. Going to be a very interesting few weeks coming up. C.S
  4. 21 hours of continuous light to moderate rain here, now that' what I call a stalling front. Quite ironic that if snow arrives Tuesday morning it will make a quick exit within a few hours. C.S
  5. I would say 2-5cm going of those charts maybe 10cm for Buxton/Glossop I Think the METO Warning will reflect that when issued Tomorrow/Monday C.S
  6. To be fair I have seen Steve admit he has got it wrong in the past For me the Professionals at the METO are as guilty as us at over hyping things,I have seen numerous Tweets saying disruptive snowfall and then when it starts down grading no explanation Given. Anyway as things stand at the moment Tuesday Looks good for a good few hours of light Snow, with further snow Showers on Wednesday. No point going any further until models get a full grip on the Possible less cold spell. C.S
  7. cold Air starting to make it presence felt Rain turning to sleet at Manchester Airport with Current Temperature 1c was 2.8c at 07:00 C.S
  8. Yes heard that.come Tuesday she will say we were lucky to miss the snow Agree looks like turning less cold mid week(not mild)and then turning colder. C.S
  9. My post was as follows. Snow or no snow we are entering the coldest part of winter,or am I missing something. Now I don' mind my post disappearing if that is deemed of topic, but the amount of crap and it is page after page that I read in there is embarrassing and goes untouched. C.S
  10. Now remind me why I dont post in the MOD thread oh yes that is it,post deleted because I Mentioned lack of snow and it been coldest part of winter.yet you can post about your Granny and that is ok. What a pile of jaffa cakes that thread is. C.S
  11. Indeed mild sector alert. Now those toys might need passing out to the other thread, shall see if this is a trend On the 18z or a rouge run,the key is in the lock but not quite ready to turn. Now come on ECM same as this morning please. C.S
  12. If you are talking snow to early to predict next week, however disagree this will be the coldest shot of winter so far,I certainly dont recall any -10 HAP this winter,so penetrating overnight frost and day time temperature of +2 or 3c pretty cold in my book, also don' put yourself down it your opinion and you are entitled to you point of view. C.S
  13. METO Warning indicating a Freezing Rain event for tomorrow with 2-3cm Snow over the Lake district Fells and the Pennines C.S
  14. Evening all As my spring watch has been put on hold my attention has now has to turn back to winter Mode. With reference to Saturday I suspect that the front will fail to pass anywhre to the East of the M6 areas to the West of the M6 having damp and raw day as the front spreads in,as the front pivots and heads back East there may be a bit of sleet/wet snow if the colder air from the East catches the front up(as shown on the latest fax) To early to discuss snow prospects next week but would be very surprised if we are not talking about some disruptive snow fall by the end of next week. C.S
