  1. So it's going to be getting relatively colder this week, with relatively being the choice word in that as compared with the winter we've had thus far its an improvement, but still absolutely shocking if it's what a coldie desires for just 3 measly months of a year.

I mean it hasn't been all bad at least theres been some exciting weather with the big atlantic storms rolling in, and it hasn't even been that mild - it's still felt cold. But it just isn't the same is it?

We in the far north have still probably had more of a winter than those in the south, who've had milder temperatures and some not even a flake of snow, i've had one fairly heavy snow shower back in November, and I know some of us with a bit more elevation had some the other day.

Wintry showers possible then in the next few days... after that who knows hopefully we can have something notable by the end of the winter/ into Spring even.

  2. Gorgeous day outside,

It's just a shame that we don't have an easterly to look forward to anymore. Following the model thread is such a headache its so easy to get sucked into great output, even when we know its still too far away to be certain, its disappointing when it's not going to happen and its another delay for the chance of some winter,

The sunshine is doing wonders to cheer me up on that front though, although into next week looks a bit dreary Posted Image

  3. Missed all the thunder and lightning fun stuck in work, didn't hear a thing! Posted Image

Driving home about half an hour ago was a torrential shower with some hail mixed in, wind really gusting badly in it. There was flashing orange lights on a truck at the yorkie roundabout think they might have been pumping water out? Always floods there anytime we get torrential precip now

  4. A fresh but sunny start to the day in Darlo this morning hardly a cloud in the sky

    Currently 14.0c and rising

After a blip this weekend things will return to normal next week with the summer warmth returning

The blip was certainly felt here today, miserable day barely above 15C, murky cloudy skies and a howling wind. One to forget.. looking forward to some brightness again.
