Hot dry day today - now there's some rain a bit further south but it's doing its best to avoid the Malverns and skirt east of us. Shame as we really need the rain here, garden's very dry.
Actually I feel like the Middle class guy in that comedy sketch by the Two Ronnies... I look up to him (gazes at Weirpig at 600 asl) but I look down at them (eyes those of you at lower altitudes).
I should water the garden again before the sun comes round.
Dry start to the day but very quickly deteriorated into light showers then heavier, longer rain. Really is a washout today, but quite humid out. Currently 15.1oC.
Heavy rain over the Malverns last night, plus a bit of T&L although not too close. The sun's coming though the haze now, wonder if we'll get more thundery downpours later. Temp currently 13.7oC.
My understanding was that today would see some showers (and maybe even thundery activity?) moving up from the south. We've gone overcast here in Malvern and it feels rather sultry and still.
Edited to add: ...and now big raindrops falling.
Heavy snow falling here. Not settling, as it's 7.0oC, but lovely to see all the same.
Edited to add: Huge flakes falling now! If only it was colder, this would be amazing!
