    Where is this band of snow coming from? because i can't see any? the lot over the netherlands is heading towards EA not Kent. This is going to be a damp squid

    Why are all the showers dying out before they get to Gravesend? I have 5cm from this cold spell uselss.

    Had a short heavier spell about 5 minutes ago. Now light snizzle. Hope this band continues to push west. Because North West Kent and surrounding areas deserve some snow now.

    According to the net weather radar, it should have started snowing lightly in Gravesned, but theres nothing? Also checked with my friend further east in Cuxton (rochester) and they still haven't got anything.

    I have 5cm's altogether and this band keeps decaying the further west it travels. I think i am going to give up.

    the further west the band is travelling it seems to be decaying? not a good sign

    After Progessing Westwards for a while? it seems to have stopped shifting west?

    i can't believe how lucky some people have been in other parts of kent. I only have 3cm here in gravesend.

    How come Gravesend has missed everything this week? we have 3cm on the ground. I'm pleased for everyone else but i seem to miss the snow every cold spell.

    i think thats it for us now. looking at the rain today radar the band of PPN has slipped to the east and south of us. after it looked so promising

    i'm not sure what to do. go to bed and hope for a suprise in the morning? or wait a little longer and see how this develops before going to bed? any advice?

    I'm on thong lane and i don't seem to be experiencing that. and i can start to see lights again towards the river. i can't believe this.

    i fear this band has lost its intensity because there seems to be hardly anything falling in my part of gravesend.

    Nothing in Gravesend seems to have gone over medway as another poster has suggested it is snowing there already

    Rain today and met office and meteox radars all show different things.. i don't know whether Gravesend DA12 is bang on or whether its on the western edge or the eastern edge? they are all different.

    seems to be heading more for the gillingham maidstone area. Another miss from Gravesend. Nevermind

    if we can get in the centre of the band and the wind direction continues the same we could be under this for quite a length of time. However i am not sure we will be in the centre. However lets all sit tight and hope.

    on the rain today website it seems to have gained strength over the south essex coast again? whether or not it gets over the river. is still to be seen.

    could anyone tell me whether the snow will reach DA12? what does the track of this shower look like? is it breaking up before the estuary?

    I give up for north west kent, it seems to have weakend on the western edge, and from gravesend being on the eastern edge of the shower we are now going to miss it from the western edge. Thats even if it makes it across the estuary it looks like its breaking up.

    could any one tell me if the shower coming down from ipswich will hit the north west kent coast in gravesend? or should i give up and go to bed?

    The Shower currently over Ipswich when that reaches North West Kent... South Essex do you think it will lose its potency like the previous shower that headed down the coast? or could the estuary pep it up a little? What are your thoughts?
