    I would agree with you, i can't believe how much snow this has produced. a good 2 hours? It certainly seems as though it is again moving back in land over southend. hopefully it stays right were it is and continues to snow heavily. Has eased off atm. looks like that might be it, for gravesend.

    It seems to have stalled over southend only travelling south slightly, and the area from london has swung round below it.

    Has anyone else noticed that the band of PPN currently over Kent seems to be swinging out from the bottom, but the area in the north sea seems to be staying in a similar position all but a slight movement. or have i looked at it wrong?

    I would love the PPN to stall now. Its really coming down best of the night so far, i'm so glad i stayed up to watch it. such a lovely sight.

    Has anyone noticed the band above ipswich turn from a northerly flow and now following the coast of suffolk? quite high intensity by the looks of it. Just noticed it on the Met Office rainfall radar? Could this bring further snowfall.

    I'm still hanging in there to see what occurs. Not sure how long i can last. Wind seems to have really picked up again, coming from a more easterly direction that before. Gonna give it another 30 mins. Whats happening in Southen, that should give me a clue as to whether its heading my way over to NW Kent.

    Is the PPN building in the estuary? doesn't seem to be good enough to produce much more snow?

    I think i am going to stay up all night and see how the showers in the estuary develop. Based on your predictions do you think Gravesend NW Kent would get anything significant from these showers. (potential thames streamer) thanks

    Everything has stopped now in gravesend, would anyone be so kind to let me know what the chances are of any further snowfall in gravesend? If the Thames Streamer does build, would i be in the firing line. Thanks in advance.

    What are the DewPoints like for tomorrow? When the showers head in?

    So from having some potential snow tomorrow - we now have no potential in kent. And from having snow thursday night / Friday we now have no snow potential? -3.4C Gravesend

    Hasn't reached 2C in Gravesend today - currently 1.8C Dewpoint -2C Cloud building from the North East Wind currently ENE

    Looks promising. i'm hoping we get some nice snowfall next week in the South-East.

    Here in Gravesend, there seems to be alot of thick cloud building from the North-east from the Estuary, is this to be expected?
