    Seems like there is some heavy rain south of me. Looks like I might get at least a small portion of that rain in the north sea. Seems particularly wet in Whitby: http://www.whitbywebcam.com/webcam.html

    Got heavy showers passing over East Durham at the moment, went very black. Was expecting thunder, pretty sure someone will get thunder somewhere. Any reports fellow northeasterners?

    Starting to chuck it down here - from some very dark based clouds, all be it quite high up.

    Just had a short shower from a Cumulus Congestus cloud. Looks like there are a few showers dotted about.

    Just had a downpour here, no thunder though. Was busy strimming the garden and came over dark so have a half strimmed garden.

    I can see the storm to my south, I think I saw a very faint flash of lightning, but unsure though. Is anyone south of Hartlepool having any thunder?

    Hoping for some videos, pretty boring up here in the North East. I suppose I am being greedy since all of the action yesterday up here.

    Seems a few heavy showers crossing the Scottish borders and Northumberland. Unsure if there is anything thundery. Seems slightly warmer now that the breeze has dropped.

    Lost the lightning activity now according to the radar. Gone quiet again and a little chilly too

    A bit of the clearance with cloud breaking slightly. Still the odd spot of rain, but birds are singing in the tree and the blackbirds are tucking into the worms.
