Just had an brief moderate snow shower didnt settle though.

Amazing what an few miles can do your not far from me and we have done ok snow started early hours of Saturday till about 10 in the morning nothing major and probably only an inch or two the rest of Saturday remained bitterly cold with barely any thaw. Melted all on Sunday though once the sun came out and since then we have had constant light snow/graupel showers not amounting to much but snowed moderately in the early hours of this morning given us another good covering again melted very quickly this morning though and since then just snow showers on and off throughout the day again not laying but if we get some tonight might get another covering.

Funny how in this easterly flow it's the western parts doing better then the east. Obviously been further away from the coast and altitude does help. Here been an few snow/graupel showers nothing real heavy and earlier covering gone.

Was snowing heavily at 7 good covering but two hours later you wouldnt know not an trace. Got to remember is nearly April and at sea level.

Just had an brief snow shower here might get an covering tonight judging by the latest look north forecast if we get some snow showers tonight. And our snow cover rapidly melted yesterday in the sun only had an inch or two though so hardly surprising at this time of year.

Very little thaw here today apart from on roads and pavements quite impressive for late March at sea level. Some great pics there wish i lived on higher ground to experience some proper drifting and blizzards though. The best i can remember is Dec 2010 when the snow was knee deep almost, think that the best we can ever expect here unless we get an mini ice age still great though nevertheless.

Snow stopped here now good covering though not bad here and was impressive with strong winds blowing the snow about something which has been quite frequent in snow events this year. Considering i thought we was going to miss out nice to get involved in the action even some mini icicles hanging of window sills and bins which is an bonus.

Being snowing here since the early hours good covering now and still coming down quite impressive with the gusty wind. No snow in Beverley? Your only about six or seven miles away.

We got lying snow in October last year and i am at sea level was quite expectional considering the year before we had an heatwave. Back on to March i remember the easter snowfall of 2008 had about three or four inches here was all gone by two o clock though. Had some lying snow in April 2008 to. That came off an dreadful winter one of the mildest on record i believe? How times have changed.

Finally got some heavier stuff is abit wet but laying.

Nothing here apart from an few flakes about an hour go. Might get lucky and get an covering yet will see fingers crossed.

Waiting game here show the band jst brushing our area but nothing at the moment bitterly cold though in that wind. Just need it to push further East hope people who have the snow hope your enjoying it?. Don't expect no more then an dusting if we get some here but anything will do.

Well keeping an open mind here don't expect much here only 20 miles inland from the coast and low lying right on the river humber so will just wait and see might be surprised. Being rare to get most of our snowfall this winter from frontal systems instead of the usual snow showers we get off the North sea.

Had some moderate snow showers overnight which topped up the existing thin cover. Being another good thaw today still some lying snow in shaded areas and being some snow showers on and off all day not amounting to much but still nice to watch. Must say feel very pleasant when the sun comes out nowhere near as cold as yesterday with that biting wind gone.

Slow thaw here now is March so to be expected clouding over again though hopefully might get an few beefy showers. Looks fun in the channel islands good on them to get some decent snow very rare especially at this time of year.

Hammering down here looks almost blizzard like in the strong winds. Don't think it would qualify as an blizzard but impressive never the less.

Good covering here to will turn to rain in an few hours so will be washed away shame. Must say i have enjoyed this last month or so of weather being plenty of interesting events even if it has been marginal at times imby but think most of us have had some decent falls to satisfy us snow lovers. Beats horrible cold wet and windy crud anytime and most of the falls have come from frontal systems three including this can't remember the last time that happened here especially in such an short space of time instead of showers off the North sea so an pleasant change. Shame we didn't really get any low temps and clear nights being very dull alot of the time. Must admit though looking forward to some sunshine and dare i say it mild weather for abit.

coming down heavier here now blowing about in the wind only an sugar coating so far but pretty all the same. Going to make the most of it might be the last this winter.

Still snowing here not settling jst seen an car drive past covered in snow wonder where there come from? hope it's heading this way doubt it though.

Nothing here now glad though nothing worse then cold rain and sleet wasn't expecting nothing in this set up. Would be nice to have an good hard frost will be icy in morning don't think skies will really clear to much though tonight. Need an good Northerly or North Easterly to finish off winter in style being good overall Easterlies are to marginal unless there really cold air and drag lots of cloud and murk to off the north sea.
