  1. Well not expecting anything here anyways if we get anything at all Easterly winds will jst dragged milder air in off the north sea well relatively speaking so cold rain or sleet is all i expect. Much prefer an unstable Northerly or North Easterly piling in snow showers for this area.
  2. Snowing here now but not heavy hopefully there Will turn heavy like earlier might stick and give an covering.
  3. Frequent heavy wintry showers starting off as rain and sleet then turning to heavy wet snow here with some big flakes mixed in. Not settling apart from on my skylight and cars but soon as it does it clears off. Beautiful sunny skies now love this weather shame the snow isnt settling though.
  4. Were right on the river humber here guess about 2 Metres above sea level so very low lying. Jst been woken by an heavy wintry shower with hail and looked like snow but can't be sure but nice all the same. Be nice to see an covering and have lying snow in all three winter months :-) plus with the snow we had in October which is expectionally rare never seen snow fall and settle in October in this location and Many other low lying areas so proves what can happen if the set up is right and cold enough.
  5. Ahh the good old Northerly toppler seems ages since the last one. How far inland are these showers expecting to push in? Got an feeling we will miss out on any showers here.
  6. Still snowing here but only added an few cm's to our existing cover been to wet here for anything significant still an week of lying snow up to now and will almost certainly get 10 days of lying snow out of this snap i would bank that in any winter. Just need some cold clear nights now for it to freeze hard but doubt we will get it with this Easterly wind dragging in cloud. Shame really if it had been an degree lower would of been in business but that the price when things are marginal and only 15/20 miles inland with no elevation at sea level here on the humber. Beats cold rain any day though but still white out there even if an slushy mess in places.
  7. Just had an intense heavy spell of snow everything covered in less then an minute at last if can stay like this for the next six hours will be great ha. Was concerned it was going to be an damp squib earlier got full snow cover again now.
  8. Still a bit hit and miss here if the precipitation could stay heavy would be in business keep varying from light snow to heavier bursts. But we have lost more snow cover then we have gained still plenty of time yet i hope. The hour an half wintry mix earlier cost us i think.
  9. Should do your further inland so if it's snowing here will snow where you are.
  10. Sleet and rain turned to snow now in Hessle alot of the snow has thawed though now. Was worried it might be an non event here about 20 miles inland but right on the Humber closed to recording an week of lying snow now :-)
