  1. Can I point out there was a good post on here yesterday morning about GFS data gatherers in the Atlantic having a lot of problems at the moment! Just think this needs to be factored in !
  2. Sorry Ian but my reply was in the wrong place, was replying to someone "up North" But i do not see the low coming in from the south west doing much more than pivoting and been pushed s.e. across france.
  3. Sorry to dissapoint but not a chance!!!! the rain/sleet/snow line on saturday/sunday will be south of the M4 the good news is that i think we will see a much better attack from the east closer to midweek next week! more on my perception on thinks tommorow lunch
  4. Well said Shaun i am very impressed i have been model watching for many years indeed Shaun i use to give you good forcasts for snow when you were a pupil in St Stephens ( MR MORGAN ) :-] . But back on topic the potential showing up this year is quite exceptional, i have not seen such cold pooling!! it wont take much for the flood gates from the east to open and we will be in the deep freeze.!! Trust me i am Mr Morgan
  5. Hi eye long time no speak!! To be honest the radar has been helpfully to a point but I have been increasingly dismade at the poor modelling by all the major outputs for 3 years now! We have to remember they are human controlled computers reliant on input and I do be beleve current inputters are not aware or are ignoring the solar influences we are currently experiencing !
  6. I will say this, the weather has made mugs of us for generations and will continue to for generations! Despite the millions we spend on research and computers the best way to know what the weathers going to do us look out the window!!!!

  19. The last point is a very good one ! Here in midlands, since november the 18th we have only had 12 days where the temp. has risen above 6c . we have had 5 days of snow falling and 3 days of snow lying, albeit not a great amount. In my book this has been the coldest winter for 10years and certanly most night frosts since the late 80s totaling 22 to date !!
