  1. well said bobby too many have been getting carried away in here I did warn people yesterday but got shot down
  2. I remember the good old days when loging on to the weather news group when they were well informed views and banter out to t96 accuracy was say 60/40 back then. I do have a giggle to myself reading the views on here beyond that! Even the metoffice confidence during the winter drops to 50/50 beyond t120 in 2013 :-) :-)
  3. If you dont start behaving yourself i will take you to see MR Brassington
  4. Sorry try copy and paste not use to hyperlinking on phone yet. Yes i think so I LOVE SNOW it is now beign undercut by a gusty s.e wind which is also causing band to intensify a little on its eastern flank
  5. I Hang About mostly on model watching thread but god its getting so tedious they steadfastly refuse to discuss or acknowledge any thing about present day and next 24 hrs models grrrr and way follow this link to what i think could be a big surprise for quite a few west midlanders tonight.http://www.meteox.com/h.aspx?r=&soort=loop3uur Sorry for grammer using i phone and not too god with it
  6. Can i request a present say 6-72hrs Model watch section particualy through the coldest periods, it is hard word trawling through all the long range model watch to find just a few post on current synopis. The last few days have shown how sudden things change and little mention is given in this forum which is a shame for such a good weather site
  7. The band of snow south of Hampshire is moving very quick and has our name on it :-)
  8. The weather since Thursday has been incredible for many and most models show a cold week ahead! Breakdown next weekend who knows!! There has been a few surprises this weekend with snow falling in areas not predicted 12 hrs ago so come on peeps cheer up ! Who knows what tommorow brings let alone next weekend !!!
  9. Oh my word GFS have had problems for 10 days due to some data collection problems!!! They ate producing short term solutions well but really struggling with medium and long term solutions :-)
  10. Folks this is going to be a once in a generation experience for many take care !! This band sat over midlands is a develope occlusion that is gaining energy from the approaching front the fact it hasn't peterd out yet can only point to it gaing more energy as the other front approaches a few shocks in store for some in store I think
  11. How much in Alvechurch folks?? And in regards to our Shaun he was happy with 2cm as a kid in redditch !!! Don't get greedy in your old age lol
  12. But the dew point will rise as the first band pushes through leaving rain or sleet at best
  13. For us west of Brum this first band was our I ly chance of snow! I've just used 5 bags of grit to ensure business as usuall tommoro to be quite frank what a waste of money ! Have to say just like the weather forecasting in this country!!!!!
  14. All gong tits up for anybody south and west of Birmingham if you want snow
  15. left trouser legy left trouser legy pants time :-) (Green Mile)
  16. AdZyy IMO the cold is just starting to get a hold the dew point is dropping quickly and that's the important thing for snow to fall ! I'd be amazed if any rain falling dosent turn to snow from a curved line from Bristol through birmingham and across to hull (South)
  17. I am expecting snow Sunday night into Monday! Not sure which charts you are all looking at !!! Alvechurch BTW
  18. I did say on Wednesday that Saturday's snow would be south of m4, and even mr Fergie dissed me lol. Good news for some is I think Monday's snow line will be east of Wales and the south west of England which should mean all of england should see some snow before midnight Monday 😱
  19. Hi Ian so is met office now agreeing to my post to you earlier ??? :-)
  20. Can only repeat my previous post ! GFS will change back tommorow be sure of that !
