    And to be quite frank a lot of people would get a lot less stressed rather than thinking that models are the gospel and its going to happen. the met office do not show surface pressure chats beyond 5 days for a very good reason

    The cold Synoptics always seem to be plus 5 days ahead whilst it's eye candy I am not convinced of any real cold and snow hitting the majority anytime soon the favoured places in the north maybe. Nice to get some chilly autumnal days though

    Yep and northern hills its been a nice chilly October with some unusual snowfall in places but I think winter is about to cast its wet mushy miserable mess.

    Winter has never got going this year and cold has always been shown in FL. Even this current chilly snap was progged to be colder than what it is 7 days ago. I am a coldie and gutted that I have not even seen one snow flake this winter/spring

    It has been one of the poorest winters I can remember for snow not seen one flake and that's a first in my 25 years living here in the midlands.

    You had a good level headed teacher icy blast I think the models are up and down and struggling to get to grips with current synopsis, I think we are on the cusp of something really special there are some surprise snowfalls across Birmingham this morning More to follow

    The last i seen was wintry showers this morning, then clearing this afternoon Radar still looks potent for a while but showers by there nature are hit and miss

    A Little Bird told me the biggest dumping will be over Alvechurch!!! So i will be wearing a hat the next couple of days!!! it will be the only thing white falling from sky

    I think all hopes for any snow in this chily period are low at best. however i do see the building blocks starting to show for a very cold febuary.

    This cold Snap\Period hasnt really started to get going yet and already some people are looking for the end??? i use to be a regular on here but with so much sniping going on i prefer to keep my head under the parapet!!!! Oh By the way it will be a snowy week for quite a few next week!!!
