    -2.3 here. Was some freezing fog about earlier on my drive home from work!

    It really struggled with the down welling of the stratosphere especially but so did most models so it will be interesting to see what this one does as each warming is unique!

    Well I can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s snowing! Right on the edge of that band

    The rain has arrived the winds have picked up and as a result the temperature has gone up to 5.9°C.

    Temp got down to 2.3°C at 17:32 its since gone up to 3.1°C but held steady since, however rain is beginning to move in from the west so i'd expect the temp to rise soon.

    Oh dear its getting a bit frosty in here tonight! Never understand how an argument can occur over weather, can't we all just get along in here! Some nicer weather showing for next week according to the ECM, which is a welcome relief from all the rain that has fallen recently.

    I take longer range models very seriously in fact iv'e already written off this winter and seeing how warm its going to be i'm going to have a BBQ this Christmas!
