How about Cellar Spiders? http://en.wikipedia....s_phalangioides
Thats the little fellas, or is it pholcus phalangioides! james cheers, foz
We've noticed a big increase of orb spiders this year, but 3 years ago at work, we had to call in a lady from Twycross Zoo to pick up a whopping great Huntsman spider that had arrived ALIVE and kicking in a box of hanging baskets!
Scared the living daylights out of me when I opened the box!! had a 5" legspan and the lady from the zoo said "aww it's only half grown...poor thing"

not me in photo
Thank god its not them !

we are indeed indebted to your information oh wise one.
As to anyone predicting what one days' weather might be some, 85 days is it, in advance, and the technical repost has to be utter tripe/balderdash.
NO ONE can predict it, be it 0% or 100% its as simple as that in realistic terms but fun for some to see these numbers churned out every year.
For a forecast for the 'period', say 3 days either side of and including the Day itself, then its possible to make a reasonable prediction 3 weeks prior to it, certainly not before then.
Sounds about right to me. ps will it snow in warwick that day.

Interesting little site I was recently passed on. Neat in its presentation - tells you what you want to see: http://www.solen.info/solar/index.html
Good one , even i can understand some of it cheers

Come on 13.9
-
A finishing mark of 13.9 degrees would only be slightly above the average CET, so if the finishing mark and it is a good bet then this autumn will have started on a very average note not a warm one.
Your right fella, but two out of three aint bad. I wish.

Another area of sunspots has formed in the high latitudes, will be numbered 1027 soon.
Looks like a active period is on the cards, could we be heading to the maximum of this minimum???.
If this is to be the case , Were does this minimum compare .
